This is an example of 9 joint works of painter Albert Oehlen and Holger Hiller, which were shown in April 2011 at Max Hetzler Gallery, Berlin.

Works consist of nine single-edition prints by Oehlen, each juxtaposed and framed with a vinyl record of material specially composed by Hiller.

As divergent as Hiller's and Oehlen's fields of work are,
both havebeen integrating Pop Elements, and making
them bounce off other textual contexts. Here Hiller
presents inaudible vinyl disks carrying new works.

In the audio works he appropriates snippets of
eurotrash group Scooter and symphonic video
game soundtracks, and embeds them into Xenakis
and other twentieth century composers, while
Oehlen elaborates under joint headlines in a subtle
balancing  act between banality, figure and abstraction.
